Company Overview
Simian Circle Games LLC. was
founded in 2014 by Dirk Stanley. Simian Circle Games LLC. (SCG) primarily makes
tabletop role-playing games and card games. We are small company consisting of
only one person (Dirk Stanley). We are located in Louisville Kentucky. Dirk
Stanley writes, edits, illustrates, and does the layout, marketing, and handles
all business matters for each project currently produced by SCG.
Over the past eight years
we have released the Far Away land Role-Playing Game, Dungeon
Architect Cards, World Architect Cards, the Mere Anarchy RPG,
and the upcoming Adventure Perilous Role-Playing Game. Our design
goals are to create minimalist games that focus on simple mechanics, fun gameplay,
and colorful artwork. Our products are geared toward players of all ages and we
focus on games that are inviting to children and new players. We believe in representation
of diversity and strive to be inclusive in how we approach game design and the
worlds we build.

Our flagship product, the Far
Away Land Role-Playing Game, has unanimous praise through various reviews
and media outlets. Currently on DriveThruRPG (DTRPG), the Far Away Land Tome
of Awesome (the core rules of the game) holds a 5 out of 5-star rating and
is within the top 7% of all products sold on DTRPG. The game has also been
unanimously praised by multiple game reviewers and media outlets…
